I put my daughters phone through the washing machine! Will it ever work again??

I know the battery is no good. But was wondering if the phone would dry? It is a nokia 7373

There is a slim possiblity that it still might work. Don%26#39;t turn anything on, pop the battery out and let the whole thing dry out completely. I know someone who accidently washed their work cell phone in a full load washing cycle and then put it through the hot dryer and it%26#39;s still working! It%26#39;s been about 6 months and I still can%26#39;t believe it. I guess that hot dryer did the trick! Either that or he got awefully lucky!

Like I said, pop the battery off and let the phone %26 battery completely dry out before putting the battery back in and turning it on. Maybe let it dry for a couple of days.

Even after repair your Intergrated Circuit (IC) will be damaged and will rust one day unless they change it.. buy your daughter a new phone. it will not work anymore. I doubt it! You might just get away with it. My friend did the same thing, and managed to get it working, although the sound quality went a bit pear shaped!

If its insured, check whether it is covered for water damage. no it probably won%26#39;t work!! unless it is badly damaged. Oooops

I%26#39;m sure once it%26#39;s dried out it will be fine! If not then I suggest you buy her a new one! I am drying out my sons Nokia as we speak...yep, washing machine...lol!
