This happened to my son. It was a "new" number, but i guess it was a recycled number. Anyway, this person kept texting and would stop. Finally we called and kept calling her asking why she won%26#39;t stop and added that she was "texting a 7 year od boy-is she a pedophile?" It worked and she hasn%26#39;t text back.

Have your parents handle this and tell that guy that he%26#39;s texting a young girl and your parents are going to file harrassment charges-maybe he%26#39;ll stop? If you don%26#39;t know them, then don%26#39;t! Text messages that are unsolicited will not only cost you money, they are spam and this is a classic ploy to set you up for something! Do not text back the person will know its an active number and also I believe they can use your number as you have allowed them access. It happened to a friend who had a contract phone and they ran up a huge phone bill on her number. Luckily she was able to prove it hadnt been her. No don%26#39;t.You clearly do not know the person so you may be being set up for something that will cost you.If it is someone who knows you they will get back in touch one way or another. Its as Joinecashoffers says, a mobile pyramid selling scheme. Reply at your peril. (If you don%26#39;t know what a pyramid scheme is, ask mum or dad.) write down the # and go to a police station and track it but dont txt back! Personally, I wont even bother about it... If he/she is your friend, they will soon send you another text... this has scam writen all over it!!

some scam use up all your credit!!

do not reply!
