wondering does it cost anything for staying online?like do they charge 10cents per minute or something.but for sure i know each IM cost you money unless you got Unlimted Texting plan(which i have).

No it doesn%26#39;t cost anything to stay online. However, if at any time you see the small picture of a phone appear on the same bar that has the service indicator on it, you are using airtime. I just looked at my mobile IM (I have Verizon as well), and the phone does appear at the top, so I am, and you will be, using airtime while you are online.
The best way to clarify whether or not you are getting billed is to call *611 and ask a customer service representative that exact question.
