I know talking on a landline phone isnt a good idea in a thunder storm,but what about cell phones?

Need to settle a disagreement with friends! Need an expert opinion! I know talking on a landline phone isn%26#39;t a good idea in a thunder storm,but what about cell AND CORDLESS phones?

I%26#39;m not an expert but id say talking on cell phones in a thunder storm wont hurt you. Well good thing i came by because I am an expert. However, I am an expert at BS only so my answers are usually served with salt or jest. Cell phones are bad for you they cause Brain cancer and things of that nature.
