I want to be able to assign certain ringtone to certain contact without having the ringtone to start playing when I get a text msg from the person. Even though I set my text alert to be on silent, the phone still start playing the ringtone when I receive a txt from the person I assigned the ringtone to.

if u assigned a ringtone to a contact you won%26#39;t be able to stop it when the person text message you is not possible i%26#39;ve tried. Go to Motorola Razr webpage and download the Phonetools Software It lets you change just about everything.
What bothers me is you cannot delete the screensavers,wallpaper installed on the V3 wasting valuable memory which was upgraded on the latest model (1gb)
I take 2 pics at high res and I have no memory left.
Mind you I have a 5 min. MP3 Ringtone,
