It was the persons phone who had my job before me. The phone was working fine and last week it somehow got on mute and nobody can get it off. It will go to unmute but than it goes back to mute.

just put the volume up....or go to settings and try to fix it something is messed up in your settings..try taking the battery out and putting it back in after a minute...that works on my phone anyway Go to phone settings and change it - or call tech support for cellphone company

thanks I had a Motorola that kept doing that %26 I had to take it to be repaired. It was a V400. There was a connection problem %26 they had to replace a small part for $20. Does it actually say "mute" on the phone or does it just get to where the the person can%26#39;t hear you? Try pushing the speaker button if it has one %26 see that part works.
