I have a sim but if i want to put a micro sd card in the slot can i do that so i can also have an mp3 player on there? But if that is possible do i need to unlock the phone?

well... I worked for Cingular/ATT and I can answer your question.
You can only use the sim card from ATT on a phone made for ATT, if not, you would have to unlock your phone. Be careful with the unlocking cause some companies wont exchange your phone with warranty if it has been previously unlocked.
The Razr phone is not MP3, the Razr V3i is MP3(it should be either dark gray or red, not sure if other colors are available)
Hope I helped!! there is a special slot for the sd card it doesn%26#39;t go in place of the sim ...if your phone comes with that option you will need a sd card to hold music
