...My mom says that I have a good phone now and that someone would just steal the new one. While she is sort of correct for the latter, I still need some good reasons to get it. Also, I don%26#39;t really understand what it is about the plans. Like, if I get it, will we need to get a new phone plan? So all I need is some good reasons that could make her think twice and a little information on that. Thanks.

i dont think anyones gonna steal a sidekick everyone has it now but its nice, instant messaging, camera, email, internet, a memory stick mini sd memory card slot [it already comes with a 64mb], a music player, bluetooth, but u could also get a sidekick iD which is basically a sk3 but it doesnt have the extra features like memory stick slot, camera, bluetooth, and music player Yes, you will need a new plan if you want to text without racking up a huge bill. A $20 plan which includes unlimited texting, unlimited internet for the Sidekick. If you don%26#39;t already have unlimited texting on your family plan, it is $0.15 a text message. If you%26#39;re not a huge texter, it really is a show phone. Someone may steal your new phone at school, but not if you keep it in a safe place inside your backpack.
