I have found the settings that apply and have ticked yes, but when i send a text and look at my delivery reports, it just says message pending. anyone any ideas?
Answers:
Well if the message is pending, then the recipient has not actually received the message. If the recipient has received the message then O2 are either not getting the delivery acknowledgement or not sending it to your phone. Is this the case with every text you send or just to one particular network? I have the same problem with my W300i on o2.
I dont actually think o2 gives out delivery reports as i have had this problem on all my phones with this network!! O2 do have delivery reports on your phone. If you insert *0# before your first word in the text message - when the person recieves the message, you will get a text which appears to be from the person you%26#39;ve text, but it will say what time it was delivered. I use this regularly - just remember this *0# takes up 3 charactors of your text and to start your messages on the first line available otherwise the reciever of the text will see the *0#. As long as its on the first line and before the first word, it will trigger report and wont appear on incoming text. Save *0# as a template so its easier to insert.
