Lol. that is so not a superphonic ringtone. ok a supafonic ringtone is a loud ringtone that plays like a real song. so it doesnt soung liek crap. it sounds like a actual clip of a song. and not low quality and stuff like that. so basically its a ringtone but a loud one, thats why its called superphonic. and u get one of these at the virgin mobile website for 2.50 and only the cyclops, switchback, and slider sonic have superphonic and i think th emarble 2 but look at the phone u have and see what kind of ringtone it can play I beilve that Superphonic is the silent ring tone that says people under 22 cant her witch is not true it basicly is a ring tone that plays low mhz like 15-20mhz and older people cant her it some times but that is only a guess what Superphonic ringtones are

It should not void your warranty unless it is not software that is from your cellular provider or the manufacturer of your phone. In other words as long as it is not 3rd party software you will not void your warranty. you may upgrade your software from a genuine Sony service Station. else the warranty can be terminated.
don%26#39;t ever take your phone to ny local mobile shop for repairing. sound like it has had a hard shock (dropped or hit) or could have moisture damage, but u did not say. or could be a battery issue. try taking out the battery with the phone powered up, it should reset when powered back up. if this fails take it to your provider and have them check the software. software issues should b covered as a warranty repair. It seems that your device needs what they call a flashover,to restore the internal software!but dont go anywhere, until your network provider directs you to the appropriate shop, whom will send it away! Your warranty remains intact!

It is 25 cents per picture message sent. If you plan to do it a lot I would get a text / picture messgae package. It starts as cheap as 5.99 a month for 300 messages. If you want to do just a few then the pay per use would be fine for you. Just select the picture you want to send then select options and send in message and put in the email address you want it to go to. If you plan to do this a lot I would put the email address in your phonebook on the phone for faster sending of pictures. i believe a quarter if you dont have the "in" texting if you did have that it could be anywhere from 5-20 dollars a month for unlimited texting, including pix and flix.

I%26#39;ve not used the balance check on pay as you go, but I%26#39;ve used it on contract. This is what I do and it should work on pay you go. Go to services, my 3, my account details. It should give you your balance, along with your spends, calls, texts, downloads, etc. Hope this helps.

i have the iphone too and as far as i know everyone HAD to get the iphone bundle. im pretty sure its unlimited internet use because that is what the iphone does half the time is use the internet and instead of charging you by kB which regular phones do, they decided to make you pay $20 up front so that ur bill wont be horribly high. The lowest iPhone plan is $59.95, so if you currently have a lesser plan, you will need to change it to at least $59.95. The backlight lights up, but the screen itself is black. I can%26#39;t see anything, but I can still send and recieve calls, recieve texts, and all that stuff. I just can%26#39;t see what I%26#39;m doing on it. It will work time to time, and I can see my texts, but it usually goes blank again before I can send a reply to them.
It sounds like a there is a problem with your wiring. A short possibly. I suggest you take it to your carrier to fix that way if it gets worse they will be responsible and not you.

BEFORE YOU SAY "SPRINT DOES NOT USE SIM CARDS", I am looking at the blackberry8830 on the sprint website right now and under %26#39;included accessories%26#39;, it lists %26#39;128K SIM Card%26#39;. My friend , cingular or att are GSM so if you have an unlocked GSM phone so you can use any GSM sim card with it , but sprint and nextel and verizon are the CDMA and specialy sprint/nextel are IDEN even they have the sim card it is just for phone numbers nothing special,so they are totaly are diferent system and your phone does not work on their network , i hope i was help to you,good luck. yes the whole, gsm/cdma thing still aplies. but most likey the sprint 8830 has the ability to roam globally. so with that said u might have to get it unlocked to use any sim card in it; but the supplyd sim card is programmed for sprint; so tht u can use there high international roaming rates; lol.

Ok I was at a pool party and me being the smart person that I was jumped in the pool, still on me. I took the battery out and set the phone to dry face down in the sun. I have got all the water and moisture out of my LCD (most anyway I think it left a permanent water mark or something)
I then proceeded to unscrew the back screws so I could get to the panel and take a blow dryer to it. My phone turns on only with it plugged into the charger now, and it is fully functioning and everything works when I have it plugged in. Can I just buy a new battery?
Yes you definately can buy just the battery for your LG Cherry Chocolate. You can go to a third party Verizon provider, you can go to the Verizon Wireless store, eBay, even Verizon online, basically anywhere a Verizon phone is sold.

You can just buy a new battery, but that doesn%26#39;t mean for sure that the phone will function properly again, but it%26#39;s definitely worth a try before you spend the money to get a completely new phone. yes yes yes you can go to any hand pone shop and buy a new one Before you buy a new battery, take it to verizon and use one of their tester batteries to see if that will fix the issue. If it does then buy a battery from them. They have a 15day return period so if it goes to crap on you within those 15days you can get your money back. Plus there is a 1 yr manufactors warranty with verizon. that won%26#39;t cover liq damage but on a choc phone batterys don%26#39;t last too long. Every time you text it deducts 1/3 of a minute (both incoming and outgoing. If its a camera phone, I believe that picture messaging costs 1 unit per text. Please take it back and get him another one! It sounds as if your Computer is a few years old. However,your local store will supply you with a small adapter,for you to get the connection that you require! Perhaps you have the wrong cable.....thought all usb%26#39;s were the same at the computer end. Depending on what model it should look like one of these

No, i worked for them, they will not show on the bill, actually, not even customer care has the ability to see those numbers.
Just to let u know, on your bill, when u look for that call, u will see date and time and your own number displayed there. Everytime u see your own number, it means its a sms or a call from a private #.

No. Danger (the Sidekick manufacturer) will not allow Sidekick unlock codes to be released. Period. Even if you DID manage to get one that was unlocked by someone in the past when they did allow it, or someone who figured out how to hack it and do some software unlocking, you would not be able to use it for anything beyond phone and text messages. Getting the Internet or using email or AIM requires a plan that is an extra $20/mo with T-Mobile, and AT%26T would offer no such service, because they don%26#39;t sell the Sidekick. An Internet plan for any other type of phone would not function for a Sidekick because a Sidekick has to connect to a special server maintained by Danger.
If the reason you can%26#39;t change your plan is because you are on a family plan with your parents and you are a kid, see if you can get a prepaid Sidekick with one of the carriers that does offer them, just for text messaging and data. It%26#39;s $30 per month with T-Mobile. That would be the same as if you had a monthly plan just for data.
If it%26#39;s just because you can%26#39;t cancel your contract, get a Blackberry Curve (check it out at www.blackberrycurve.com.) They%26#39;re way cooler anyway. Yes, for some phones. You can unlock any GSM phone and use it with Cingular but say you took a T-Mobile phone that Cingular doesn%26#39;t carry and you unlocked it, it would work with Cingular but only voice services not data meaning internet or MMS however you may be able to just program those settings. But say you took a T-Mobile Razr and unlocked it, then since Cingular also carries that phone you%26#39;d be able to load Cingular firmware onto it and program it easier to work with Cingular. I used to work for Rogers which now owns fido when you receive something like that it is usually a system message that youi are roaming onto another network usually from the states or something. If you are close to US or where at the time you received it that is most likely the case. I got one recently that was +5000 which welcomed me to US access voicemail while in the US. may be something like that. Or may be a notice of late payment.

Is it asking for a PUK code?? If it is then you need to phone the service provider for the code. Dont try and guess it because eventually it fries the Sim card. But if its saying blocked already sounds like you%26#39;ve already fried it and you%26#39;ll need to get a new sim. Should state that in your user manual. Pop down to your local market tomorrow .. there is bound to be someone there who does it .. in Glasgow its ￡10 to have your phone unlocked.
Sorry - I mis-read the Q- the lady above is correct...I thought you wanted your phone un-locked - not un-blocked.. return it duhh YOU HAVE BOUGHT A STOLEN PHONE SIMPLE Did you buy this brand new from a shop? If so, it may be blocked and asking for a PUK code. You need to phone the service provider and they will give you the code to unblock it.
If you bought this second hand, it could be blocked, as the owner before has had it blocked as it could have been stolen. Or, it%26#39;s been a contract and has been blocked by the service providers due to unpaid bills, and the pay as you go has been put in to sell it.
I hope it%26#39;s the first one, as that is a brill phone, and once you get it sorted, your son will enjoy it.

they will give you a PUK code to unlock your new phone. It could be one or all of 3 things.
1.The the phone just needs a PUK code.Put the original sim and ring orange customer service for the code.
2.Your orange sim is out of date, try another orange sim card, rather than buy one borrow a mates that works and see what happens.Dont do anything that will block their sim.
3.If your phone was bought from a person rather than a retailer there is a possiability that its dodgy and you have lost your money.

it is true and untrue. cell phones rely on towers on top of buildings to function. if there is no power, (they obviously have backup power) , then the towers will be down and you won%26#39;t have a cell phone network. they will work fine but no network, as far as i know, my cell phone will work, but my cordless home phone will not. haven%26#39;t actually experienced it, but that is my understanding if the power outage blows up the cell tower and knocks out satalites then yes... Nooooo...cell phones run on batteries.unless the service has been knocked out, you will still get a signal. If that means a power cut, then I dont think thats true, mine always works when we have one but it would depend on how large an area it covered I guess, + i expect most of the stations where the signal is picked up has its own emergency power source to deal with situations like that. Mind you im not sure, that just sounds likely to me. That is untrue, I have us cellular and mine has never went out even when the power did, now if lightening hit your cell tower it may not work( calling out or receiving calls) but the power to it is still there. Electricity powers plants, factories, buildings, cell sites, towers of cell[hone companies, etc. but when there is power outrage/blackout, these cell sites, offices, towers are generated by power generators. I don%26#39;t know what brand the phone is, its meant to be a D908 Double Sliding AnyCall smartphone. I think the phones operating system is a version of windows as it has the media player, but i want to install an up to date English version on, again not sure how to do this.

try 0000 that the normal code for BTooth headsets, also make sure the headset is in pairing mode if you have used it with another phone privously, you might have to refer to the manual as each headset has a different way of putting pairing mode on. try 0000 quite a lot of phones use that as a default so you can input your own code at a later date It really it dosent matter what code as long as the other phone recieving the thing through bluetooth puts in the same code as you did to connect your phones.

No it doesn%26#39;t cost anything to stay online. However, if at any time you see the small picture of a phone appear on the same bar that has the service indicator on it, you are using airtime. I just looked at my mobile IM (I have Verizon as well), and the phone does appear at the top, so I am, and you will be, using airtime while you are online.

i am presuming that you are not a uk network customer. i believe that you need to contact your operator to ensure you having roaming settings activated on your mobile.
if you have settings activated or are unsure then go into phone settings under network and manually choose a network. i suggest you check out you operators website to see which is their preferred network in the UK (this will also make sure you have the cheapest network as your operator will have contracts with certain UK providers.)

sorryy, but ur music on ur env cant be set as a ringtone. the only way (and cheapest way) to get the songs u want without buying them from verizon is to record them, send them to urself, and then when recieved, set it as a ringtone. the quality isnt the best but its better than buying themm.

I have the same plan as you and for $5 a month you get a total of 250 texts and no it is not free to other Verizon customers. The 250 is to anyone, any network.
If you plan on doing more texting or if most of your text messages are to Verizon customers I would advise you to go to the next plan which is what I purchased for my daughter. For $10 a month you get 500 text to anyone on any network and unlimited to any Verizon customer. So if 80% of your texting is to Verizon customers and the 20% remaining is to other networks, then the $10 a month would benefit you as you will have unlimited to Verizon customers and for the other 20% you have 500.
If I did more texting I would bump mine up but I only text my daughter, an employee from work to make sure he is coming into work (he only works about 1-1/2 hrs a day, he has another full-time job) and 1 other friend and that%26#39;s it so for me the lesser plan works.

And the 250 is combined inbox text and outbox text I know at first it sounds like a good deal but not really after you think about it. The first answerer is incorrect. That is a AT%26T plan. I have Verizon and the same plan as you. You get 250 text messages in and out plus 250 pix in and out. I got my daughter the next plan which is $10 and she gets 500 texts in and out plus 500 pix in and out and unlimited to any Verizon customer.
So to answer you question, yes it does cover pictures and it is 250 pix %26 250 text - it%26#39;s like getting 500 total but it%26#39;s split evenly between the 2.

The first part is only partially true. You can get unlimited calling and walkie-talkie usage on Nextel for $99.99/month. You can get unlimited calling and texting with one of the plans from Boost, but only in California and Texas right now, and you have to have a certain phone that does not have walkie-talkie. If you were referring to a code, then that is not true. The so-called code was PROVEN fake a long time ago. It just takes you to a menu that techs use when we service those phones. Everything still goes through their towers and servers, so they will know when you use it.
As far as the prepaid Sidekick, unlimited web browsing, email, domestic text messaging, and domestic IM is $1/day, and calls are $0.15/minute. You can%26#39;t get unlimited minutes on it.

I was on a mission to buy a new HELIO OCEAN the other day and the store that advertised them said that they got rid of the phones because HELIO went bankrupt. If you are transferring through bluetooth / infrared, then your files will go to inbox and use up all the resources of the phone. The best way is to use a cable connection and Nokia PC Suite.

You can try several different things, from putting it in the oven at the lowest setting, to leaving it in your car on a hot day to dry out to using a blow-dryer. Also using 95% rubbing alcohol to attract the water and then leave it to dry.
You should REMOVE the battery from the phone; if you left the battery on the phone drying it out may not work because the electricity may have caused permanent damage already.

It may very well need to be charged first. Depending on the manufacturer and the number of orders they are trying to fill, your battery may not have gone through a "courtesy" charge at the factory.
It may also be a dud. Will the retail location where you purchased the battery let you return/exchange it for another one?
The last thing that comes to mind is a physical or electrical problem with your phone. Did your last battery die a long, slow death in that over time it simply held less and less of a charge, or was it a sudden, unexpected death? If it was a sudden death, you may have an issue with your phone. The fine folks where you bought your phone should be able to run a quick test on it for you so that you will know exactly what you are dealing with.

Well I%26#39;ve had mine over a year now and I love it. I use it all the time, especially the MP3 player, i bought the memory card and I have tons of music on it. I did have one problem with it but Verizon replaced it without any hassle. Because it%26#39;s a touch screen it%26#39;s very sensitive and sometimes the sensors wear out. Other than that, it%26#39;s been my favorite phone. My friend that works for Verizon data support hates that phone...
And Verizon gives you 30 days to exchange your phone BTW...

the store were you bought it should be able to help, or just take it to any store that sells that model, and that sells the cell service that you use. Have you taken the battery out and put it back? mine messes up sometimes and that will fix it. Also maybe your service provider has locked that particular feature by accident, call them.

On the inside of the main screen (it%26#39;s a flip phone) theres a hole and then a crack. Because of this the outside screen doesn%26#39;t work properly. I haven%26#39;t dropped the phone. All i do is talk and text. I believe that the way the phone was built that when closing the screen hits that keypad. Should%26#39;nt this be a defect. I just paid one hundred dollars for this phone. I would suspect that anyone who pays one hundred dollars for anything would want whatever it is to work properly. The company i got the phone and service from (alltel) is crap and claims that they can%26#39;t do anything about it because samsung will say its the users fault.

Even with it hitting the keypad, there would have to be a lot of pressure placed upon the screen to crack it and place a hole in it. Alltel is correct in saying they can%26#39;t do anything outside of pure customer courtesy, since technically it is user fault. As for the insurance deal, well you should have been told about insurance, as it%26#39;s a pretty important thing to have. And of course the insurance company wouldn%26#39;t cover the accident now. I mean, you couldn%26#39;t have a car and then call the car insurance company and say, "Hey I just wrecked my car, can I get insurance now and get a new car?"
Also, the u520 has a pretty flat keypad, so I%26#39;m not sure how the keypad could impact the screen hard enough to break it, unless, like I stated before, there was a lot of pressure on it.
So your options would be to look for a used phone or buy one at retail value. Good luck hunting, I wish you the best.

As far as I know they are still coming with Windows Mobile 5. You can check to make sure by going to Start -%26gt; Settings -%26gt; About(it may be a couple of screens over, so you may need to select More). It should show which version you are using at the top. If it%26#39;s running 5 and would like to upgrade to 6, you can do so free of charge through T-Mobile. Quckly remove the battery %26 towel dry it %26 the phone. Then take a hair dryer %26 blow it dry on low heat. Then when it seems dry, put the phone in a shaded place outside %26 do not insert the battery yet or attempt to turn it on.
Only try to use it after 2 days. If theres any hope than it should work after precisely following what i told you. Otherwise permanent damage will happen %26 you will have to replace parts or even the phone all together. Try to ignore the "Disconnect" message. Perhaps that is just suggestion from Windows, and less of an error.
What you should do is use Windows Explorer to put music files on the phone. Because it is connected as a storage device, it should show up as a random letter of the alphabet in "My Computer." Something like "F: MOTOSLVR." You should double click that icon, and if there are any folders labeled "Music" or "mp3s" already present, open it. Copy your music files, and paste them into that folder. If there are none, then just paste them into where you see fit.

You should have done your research BEFORE you bought it. You can%26#39;t use a Sidekick with Sprint or ANY other CDMA carrier. Sprint%26#39;s phones and network are CDMA, which doesn%26#39;t use sim cards. The Sidekick is a GSM phone, which requires a sim card in order to work. They are two completely different technologies and are not compatible with each other. If you want to use the Sidekick, you%26#39;ll have to switch to T-Mobile as it is only for T-Mobile. One person mentioned Cingular, but the problem with that is you would have to get it unlocked, and that is very hard to do. T-Mobile can%26#39;t even get an unlock code for the Sidekicks. Even IF you managed to get it unlocked, it is pointless to use it with a different GSM carrier since the data servers the Sidekicks use are only accessible through T-Mobile. If you have your old phone chip, try sticking it into your sidekick 3.
I do that with almost anyphone i find. t-mobile is good just switch u cant because cdma phones (which is sprint and verizon) dont use sim cards while gsm phones (cingular and t-mobile), so u cant use it with sprint no matter how hard u tried its impossible because they use different technologies. u can either activate the sidekick with t-mobile or cingular but remember the early termination fee with sprint is $200 per line. hope that helped!!

What do you mean? When the charger is in it it will not turn on or wit turns off when the charger is inserted? Either way you should contact T-mobile and ask them for a NEW(non refurbished/make that CLEAR) exchange because I%26#39;m assuming since you said "just got" that it hasnt been 14 days yet. So just call them, tell them whats happening, and get it straightened out. I have sidekick 3, too. I just charge overnight, then turn it on, the sidekick or I call "sk3" turn on just fine. check out your manual book

The problem might be one of the folllowing:
1) Are you are logged on with admin rights?
You need to have administrator rights to install software so make sure you are logged on with a user that had admin rights
2) If your installing from a CD, the problem maybe with the cd, download the latest software from Sony website:

yea i just got a new phone too and you gotta buy the music essentials kit from the store, i know they want all your money, its only like 25 bucks, but it comes with a cd to install some little thing on your computer, and a wire that connects your phone to your computer via the usb and where your charger goes. you can only put a couple songs on though because it takes up a lot of room

it is very simple, if phone says your MMS is not set up , means you have to call to your carrier and asked them the right configurations for your WAP and MMS , if your phone is unlocked then go to www.cingular.com and click under the phone/device then find your Razr configurations there and the web will walk you throu, but first try the network they might send it to OTA ( over the air ) good luck.
