I have an ex contract phone on 3 how do i bring up the balance?

i have a new chip in it and it all works but as it was contract i never needed to access my balance until now,the chip is actually a global 3 chip if this helps

I%26#39;ve not used the balance check on pay as you go, but I%26#39;ve used it on contract. This is what I do and it should work on pay you go. Go to services, my 3, my account details. It should give you your balance, along with your spends, calls, texts, downloads, etc. Hope this helps.
